Purpose & Mission
A Bit About Boring Sage Method
Learning new technology takes time, effort, and grit. While this journey can be painful and challenging, it doesn’t have to be. That’s where Boring Sage comes in. We empower students to master emerging technologies through our 5-step approach—The Boring Sage Method.

We start by simplifying complex concepts with clear visuals and relatable examples, making it easier for you to understand and retain new knowledge. We then help you see the big picture, showing you how each component fits into the broader industry landscape. Hands-on experience is key, so our approach emphasizes learning by doing—through practical, project-based tasks that turn theory into action. We also bring in real-world case studies to ensure that what you learn is relevant and applicable. Finally, our comprehensive evaluations, including quizzes and exams, are designed to solidify your understanding, address any gaps, and and certify your expertise, so you can move forward with confidence.

Our mission is simple: to make learning accessible, understandable, and actionable—empowering you to achieve mastery and make a meaningful impact in your field.
Hello
A Bit About the Founder of Boring Sage
Change isn't just a part of life; it's the heart of technology. Starting my career in telecom and establishing footprints in diverse technology domains such as computer networks, software systems, robotics, AI in less than a decade meant pivoting faster than a high-speed server.
This journey wasn't just about changing lanes; it was about adapting at a pace as fast as the technology itself. The key to this rapid adaptation? Simplifying technology to make it not just understandable, but actionable and efficient.
That's when it hit me. If I'm doing this for myself, why not help others? And just like that, BoringSage was no longer a 'maybe' – it became a 'must'.
My name is Prathamesh, and I’m a technologist & educator with a rich background in AI, robotics, & computer networking. I love to simplify technology for students and professionals around the world through my courses, guest lectures, and publications. I am grateful to the 80,000+ students from 150+ countries who have found these courses valuable.
When I am not building courses, I enjoy writing Op-Eds and conducting guest talks on emerging technologies. Some of my recent guest lectures were hosted at University of Westminster, University of Chicago, San Diego State University, Texas A&M University, American University Dubai, and more. My work has been published in American Banker, LinkedIn, Route 50, and Security Magazine. I received my MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and my BS in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
I have designed engineering systems for both government and private organizations during my time at Motorola Solutions & Silicon Valley Startup, Cobalt Robotics. Some of my clients include governments of the US & UK, Dutch Telecom Giant KPN, EMD Merck, Verizon, Slack, General Motors, Ally Financial, VMWare, and the largest e-commerce company in the world.
